Take a ride on the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, also known as the "Toy Train," a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most scenic train rides in the world. After the train ride, visit the famous tea gardens of Darjeeling and learn about the tea-making process while enjoying some of the world's best tea. End the day with a visit to the Mahakal Temple, one of the most famous temples in Darjeeling.
Morning
Start the day early with a visit to Tiger Hill to see the sunrise over the Himalayas and Mount Everest. After the sunrise, visit the Ghoom Monastery, one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the region. Next, take a cable car ride to the Darjeeling Ropeway Company to see the stunning views of the valley.
