Next, head to the Buddha Dordenma statue, one of the largest Buddha statues in the world. Take in the stunning views of Thimphu valley from the top.
Afternoon
After lunch, visit the Tashichho Dzong, a beautiful fortress that houses the throne room of the king and various government offices. Then, head to the Folk Heritage Museum to learn about the traditional way of life in Bhutan.

Today, you will explore the beautiful Punakha valley. Start by visiting the Dochula Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayas. Next, visit the Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress that was the former capital of Bhutan.
Afternoon
After lunch, take a short hike to Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the fertility temple. The temple is dedicated to the divine madman, Drukpa Kunley, and is believed to bless couples with children.
