Start your day by driving to the Island in the Sky Visitor Center to pick up a park map and learn about the park's history and geology. From there, head to the Grand View Point Overlook, which offers a stunning view of the canyons and the Colorado River.

After taking in the view, head to the Upheaval Dome Trail, which is a moderate hike that takes you to a unique geologic formation. Along the way, you'll be able to see evidence of the park's ancient history.

For dinner, head to the Moab Brewery, which offers a variety of beers and pub-style food.
