Start your day by exploring the famous historic center of Lima, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Begin at the Plaza Mayor, the main square of Lima, and visit the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lima, and Archbishop's Palace. Next, head to the San Francisco Monastery and Church, which houses a library with thousands of antique texts and catacombs that contain the bones of more than 70,000 people.

For lunch, head to La Mar Cebicheria, which serves some of the best ceviche in town. After lunch, head to the Larco Museum, which houses an impressive collection of pre-Columbian art and artifacts. Be sure to stop at the museum's café for a cup of coffee or a snack.

Finish the day with a visit to the Magic Water Circuit, a park with 13 fountains that are illuminated at night. The park offers a light show and music in the evenings, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the city views.
