Begin your day with a visit to the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three sacred rivers- Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Take a boat ride to the middle of the Sangam and witness the mesmerizing view of the sunrise. Later, head to the Allahabad Fort, which is one of the largest forts in India and is built on the banks of the Yamuna river.
Afternoon
After visiting the fort, head to the Anand Bhawan Museum, which was the ancestral home of the Nehru-Gandhi family and has now been converted into a museum. It houses various displays showcasing the history and struggle of India's freedom movement. Later, visit the Khusro Bagh, which is known for its Mughal-style gardens and tombs of Khusro Mirza, son of Mughal Emperor Jahangir.
Evening
End your day by visiting the Hanuman Temple, which is located on the banks of the Yamuna river. The temple has a peaceful and serene ambiance, and the evening aarti (prayer) is a must-attend. Afterward, head to the El Chico restaurant, which is known for its delicious Mexican food and cocktails.
