Head to the hidden lagoon of Kabui Bay, accessible only through a small passage at low tide. Enjoy a peaceful kayak through the mangrove forest, and spot colorful birds and small marine creatures. Continue to Pasir Timbul sandbank for a picnic lunch on the white sandy beach surrounded by the sea. In the afternoon, head to Arborek village to learn about the traditional Papuan way of life and snorkel with the resident school of bumphead parrotfish.

Take a speedboat to Wayag, a remote island group known for its stunning karst formations and clear waters. Spend the morning hiking through the lush green forest to the top of a hill for a panoramic view of the islands and the ocean. After lunch on the boat, visit the remote island of Aljui Bay to spot the elusive Wilson's bird of paradise, one of the most beautiful and rare birds in the world. Continue to Yenbuba village to meet the friendly locals and learn about their unique way of life.

After a satisfying lunch, visit the uninhabited island of Gam for some beachcombing and birdwatching. Look out for the red and blue Wilson's bird of paradise, as well as the yellow-faced myna and the pied imperial pigeon.
