After breakfast in Amarillo, continue your journey west towards Santa Fe, New Mexico. Make sure to stop by the famous Cadillac Ranch and take some photos before continuing on your trip.

Once you arrive in Santa Fe, head to the historic downtown area and explore the city's unique blend of Spanish, Native American, and American cultures. Visit the Santa Fe Plaza, which has been the heart of the city for over 400 years, and check out the Palace of the Governors, a historic adobe building that was once the seat of government for the state of New Mexico. For lunch, try the famous green chile stew at The Shed, a local favorite.

End your day with a visit to the famous Meow Wolf art installation, a surreal and interactive experience that is sure to leave you amazed.

After breakfast in Santa Fe, head north towards Red River, New Mexico. Along the way, make sure to stop at the Taos Pueblo, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest continuously inhabited communities in the United States. Take a tour of the pueblo and learn about the history and culture of the Taos people.

Once you arrive in Red River, check into your accommodations and head out to explore the town. Take a scenic chairlift ride up to the top of the mountain for stunning views of the surrounding area, or go for a hike on one of the many trails in the area. For lunch, try the burgers and beer at Texas Reds Steakhouse and Saloon.

End your day with a relaxing soak in the hot springs at the historic Red River Bath House.

After breakfast in Red River, spend the morning hiking in the beautiful Carson National Forest. The forest has a variety of trails for all skill levels, so there's something for everyone. Make sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen, as the high altitude can be deceiving.

For lunch, head to The Lift House Bar and Grill for some delicious pub food and a cold beer. After lunch, take a scenic drive along the Enchanted Circle, a 90-mile loop that takes you through some of the most beautiful scenery in northern New Mexico.

End your road trip with a bang by going horseback riding at the Rio Grande Stables. This family-owned and operated stable offers guided trail rides through some of the most picturesque areas in the region.
