Begin your day with a boat ride on the Ganges river, where three rivers, the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati meet. It is one of the holiest spots in Hinduism and an important pilgrimage site. The sunrise is a particularly beautiful time to visit.

After the boat ride, visit the Allahabad Fort, built by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort has three galleries and several temples inside, including Patalpuri Temple, which is believed to be the site where Lord Rama offered pind-daan to his father.

End the day with a visit to Anand Bhavan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family. It has been converted into a museum and showcases the lives of Jawaharlal Nehru and his family, who played a significant role in Indian politics.
