After lunch, visit the Perry Road, which was named after Commodore Perry who landed in Shimoda in 1854 and opened Japan to the world. The street is lined with shops and restaurants housed in traditional buildings.

Take a boat tour to the nearby Tatadohama Beach, known for its crystal-clear water and white sand. Snorkel in the clear waters and admire the colorful fish and coral. After the tour, head to the Gyokusen-ji Temple, a Buddhist temple with a serene atmosphere and beautiful gardens.
