Spend the morning touring the Lyndon B. Johnson State Park & Historic Site, which includes the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm and the LBJ Ranch. You can also visit the LBJ Presidential Library in nearby Austin.

Afterward, head to Grape Creek Vineyards for a wine tasting and a tour of the winery. If you're feeling adventurous, take a hot air balloon ride with Austin Aeronauts for a bird's-eye view of the Texas Hill Country.
