Depart from Solihull early in the morning for a long drive to Balmoral Castle in Scotland. The drive will take approximately 7 hours, so make sure to take breaks and stretch your legs every couple of hours. Along the way, you can stop at the Lake District National Park for a scenic walk and some fresh air.

Arrive at Balmoral Castle in the afternoon and take a guided tour of the castle and the grounds. The castle is the Scottish residence of the Royal Family and has been a favorite of the Queen's since she was a child. The castle is set within beautiful gardens and acres of stunning Scottish countryside.

After the tour, head to the nearby towns of Ballater or Braemar for a traditional Scottish dinner at one of the local restaurants.
