Take a break from hiking and explore the park's waterways with a guided kayak tour. Kayak Morris offers tours of the Illinois River and nearby Mazon River, with experienced guides who will point out the local wildlife and history.
Afternoon
After your kayak tour, head into nearby Ottawa for a visit to the Reddick Mansion. This historic home was built in 1855 and features original furnishings and decor. Afterwards, grab a bite to eat at the Lone Buffalo, a local brewery and restaurant that serves up delicious wood-fired pizzas and craft beers.

Afterwards, grab a final meal at the Canal Port Bar & Grill, a local favorite that serves up classic American fare and craft beers.
