Morning
Start your day with a visit to the famous Ratargul Swamp Forest, a freshwater swamp forest located in Gowainghat. This is one of the few swamp forests in Bangladesh and offers a unique experience with its lush greenery and tranquil waters. You can take a boat tour to explore the forest, which is home to various species of birds and wildlife. Don't forget to bring your camera for some stunning nature photography.
Afternoon
After exploring Ratargul, head over to Jaflong, which is about an hour's drive from Ratargul. Jaflong is known for its picturesque landscape, tea gardens, and the Dawki River that flows from India into Bangladesh. You can enjoy a boat ride on the river and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and tea estates. The crystal-clear water of the river makes it a perfect spot for some relaxation and photography.
Evening
In the evening, visit the Shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal, one of the most revered Sufi saints in Bangladesh. The shrine is located in Sylhet city and attracts thousands of pilgrims every year. Spend some time exploring the shrine complex and learning about its history and significance. Afterward, enjoy dinner at Pach Bhai Restaurant, known for its delicious local cuisine.

Morning
Begin your second day with a visit to Lalakhal, located about an hour's drive from Sylhet city. Lalakhal is famous for its blue water canal that flows through the hills and tea gardens. You can take a boat ride on the canal to enjoy the serene beauty of this place. The vibrant blue water against the backdrop of green hills creates a mesmerizing view that you won't want to miss.
Afternoon
Next, head back to Sylhet city and visit Ali Amjad Clock Tower, one of the oldest clock towers in Bangladesh. It's located near Surma River bank and offers a glimpse into Sylhet's colonial past. Afterward, take a stroll along Keane Bridge, also known as Surma Bridge, which connects two parts of Sylhet city over Surma River. This iconic bridge provides beautiful views of the river and surrounding areas.
Evening
Conclude your trip with an evening at Lawachara National Park located around 1-1.5 hours drive from Sylhet city towards Srimangal area (if time permits). This park is home to diverse flora & fauna including endangered species like hoolock gibbons etc., making it ideal for nature walks & bird watching tours before heading back towards your accommodation or next destination.
