Begin your day by exploring the Anping District, one of Tainan's oldest and most historic neighborhoods. Visit the Anping Tree House, a former warehouse that has now been overtaken by banyan trees, creating a unique and beautiful sight. Next, head to the Anping Old Fort, a fortress built in the 17th century to defend against invaders.
Afternoon
For lunch, stop by the Anping Old Street and try some of the local snacks, such as oyster omelettes and shrimp rolls. After lunch, visit the Eternal Golden Castle, another fortress that was built in the 17th century and was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. End your day by strolling through the Shennong Street, a pedestrian street filled with traditional buildings, souvenir shops, and street vendors selling local delicacies.
Evening
For dinner, head to the Guohua Street Night Market, one of Tainan's biggest night markets. Try the oyster vermicelli, fried chicken, and other popular street foods. After dinner, visit the Blueprint Cultural & Creative Park, a former factory that has been transformed into a creative space with shops, cafes, and art installations.

Start your day by visiting the Chimei Museum, a world-class museum with an impressive collection of Western art, musical instruments, and natural history exhibits. Next, head to the Confucius Temple, a beautifully-preserved temple dedicated to the Chinese philosopher.
Afternoon
For lunch, try some of Tainan's famous danzai noodles at Koxinga Noodle Shop. After lunch, visit the National Museum of Taiwan Literature, which showcases the island's rich literary history. End your day by exploring the Wusheng Night Market, which is known for its seafood and snacks such as grilled squid, fried rice cakes, and bubble tea.
