Spend the afternoon swimming, sunbathing, and enjoying the beautiful scenery. For dinner, head to Franklin Barbecue for some of the best brisket in the state. Be prepared to wait in line, but trust us, it s worth it.

Start your day with a visit to the LBJ Presidential Library, where you can learn about the life and legacy of President Lyndon B. Johnson.
