Evening
For dinner, head to Bun Cha Huong Lien, where you can enjoy another Hanoi specialty dish, bun cha, which consists of grilled pork patties and noodles. After dinner, take a stroll around the Old Quarter, where you can experience the bustling energy of the city and sip on some Vietnamese iced coffee at a street-side cafe.
Morning
Start your day by taking a day trip to the Ninh Binh Province, located about two hours outside of Hanoi. Here, you can take a boat ride through the Tam Coc caves, also known as the "Halong Bay on Land." Enjoy the stunning scenery of towering limestone cliffs and lush greenery.
Afternoon
After the boat ride, visit the Bai Dinh Pagoda, one of the largest Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia. Explore the complex and admire the beautiful architecture and stunning views. On the way back to Hanoi, stop by the Van Long Nature Reserve, where you can see a variety of bird species and take a leisurely bike ride around the reserve.
