Drive to Glencoe, a breathtakingly beautiful valley that is famous for its dramatic scenery. The drive from Edinburgh to Glencoe takes approximately 2.5 hours. Once in Glencoe, hike the Lost Valley Trail, a moderate hike that takes you through a valley that was once used by the MacDonald Clan to hide stolen cattle.

After the hike, stop by the Glencoe Visitor Centre to learn more about the history and geology of the area. The centre is also home to a gift shop and a restaurant that serves traditional Scottish fare.

Spend the evening at The Clachaig Inn, a historic pub that has been serving travellers since the 1700s. The inn serves a wide selection of Scottish whiskies and has a menu that features locally-sourced ingredients.
