Afternoon
Take a walk around the Super Pit Lookout, one of the largest open-cut gold mines in the world. The view from the lookout is awe-inspiring with massive haul trucks and excavators in action. You can also visit the KCGM Tailings Dam, which has been transformed into a lake and recreational area for the community.

Drive out to the historic town of Menzies, a former gold rush town, and visit the Menzies Museum. The museum is housed in the former School of Mines building and has an extensive collection of gold mining machinery, photographs, and memorabilia.
Afternoon
Head to the Lake Ballard Sculpture Trail, a unique outdoor art installation that features 51 individually designed steel sculptures spread over 10 square kilometres. The sculptures were created by internationally renowned artist Antony Gormley and represent the local community.
